Team LIVESTRONG Challenge Austin

In 2012, we saw over 4,300 cyclists take to the streets of downtown Austin and create a sea of yellow into the Texas Hill Country. Survivors, caregivers, advocates, friends, families and neighbors showed up not only to ride their bikes but raise awareness for a disease that impacts all of us. We hope you’ll join us again in 2013 for another great event.

Challenge participants and volunteers provide support for those affected by cancer by raising funds and awareness for the LIVESTRONG Foundation.Team LIVESTRONG Challenge events are fun, community events, not races, and athletes of all levels are welcomed and celebrated. Our events are fully supported and full of the hope and inspiration that has been fueling the cancer fight since 1997. You choose the distance that best suites you: ride 15-25, 35-50, 60-75, or 85-100 miles. Actual ride distances and courses will be announced in the coming months.

You can choose to participate individually, or you can start a team with friends or family. Remember, unity is strength and your fundraising efforts go to support the Foundation’s programs and services, providing life-saving and life-changing opportunities to cancer survivors and their families.

*Virtual Participants can register for free at any time. Register as a Virtual Participant if you cannot attend the ride in Austin, but still want to raise funds and be a part of the Austin Challenge.

**Riders are not responsible for reaching a fundraising minimum, only paying a registration fee.
