The LIVESTRONG Promotores Program offers a variety of ways to maintain your LIVESTRONG Promotor(a) Certification. This webinar describes how to further develop yourself professionally as a LIVESTRONG-certified Promotor(a).

Promotores and/or Promotores trainers will receive clear instruction on how to present the LIVESTRONG Promotores Cancer Survivorship Curriculum, including time frame for preparation, ordering materials and how to lead a successful class.

Cancer can be an overwhelming experience for both cancer survivors and their families. LIVESTRONG, in conjunction with the YMCA, have put together a webinar to share general cancer information as well as information about cancer survivorship.

Cancer Survivors may experience a wide range of emotions upon receiving a diagnosis, undergoing treatment, and after recovery. This course will review the common experiences of a cancer survivor, the support role the promotor(a) can play in their life & the emotional support resources that LIVESTRONG provides.

LIVESTRONG provides free, confidential, one-on-one cancer-related support and information in English and Spanish by phone and email, and also offers in-person services at the LIVESTRONG Cancer Navigation Center in Austin, Texas.
