A Step in the Wrong Direction
Funding for the National Institutes of Health and the National Cancer Institute has been flat for several years. We finally have a chance to make an impact on cancer funding and the President has just taken us a step in the wrong direction by vetoing the Labor HHS Conference Report which was passed overwhelmingly by Congress last week. It's time for Congress to take a step in the right direction and override the President's veto of the Labor HHS Conference Report.
