This summer, Lake Austin will provide the setting once again for the fifth annual Tyler's Dam That Cancer fundraiser benefitting the The Flatwater Foundation. This 21-mile stand-up paddle event brings a group of determined individuals together in their fight against cancer. They will travel the entire length of Lake Austin, from Mansfield Dam to Tom Miller, testing their physical limits for over eight hours under the hot Texas sun.

Dam That Cancer a Huge Success

Through the efforts of our 75 amazing paddlers and sponsors, The Flatwater Foundation and LIVESTRONG have pulled together to raise over $125,000 to fund mental health services for those affected by a cancer.

Join the Flatwater Foundation June 4th at Hula Hut Austin. Celebrate the 75 dedicated men and women who are stand up paddle boarding 21 miles on Lady Bird Lake to help people affected by cancer.

Tyler’s Dam That Cancer is the premier fundraising event for The Flatwater Foundation. This non-profit organization and LIVESTRONG Navigation Center partner provides access to mental health services for those affected by cancer.

Even if you aren’t one of the lucky paddlers in this year’s event, everyone will have the opportunity to participate and show support by attending the “We Paddle, You Party” fundraising celebration at the finish line. Everyone's invited to this fun event at the one and only Hula Hut. A donation of $100 or more will even qualify you as a Tyler's DTC-VIP.
