We fight to improve the lives of people affected by cancer
I'm humbled to swim in Eric Shanteau's Swim For Your Life once again this year in memory of our schoolmate, Lily Anderson, and everyone else who has lost their battle to this very bad disease. I would also be proud to honor those currently fighting and proud survivors! Last year, I wrote names on my body in Sharpie to inspire me to swim as fast as I could. As a swimmer, it was my way of showing the world that I can make a difference in the water. The money I raise will support programs and services for cancer survivors...(Far better than any medals I've ever earned on the pool deck). Please support me with whatever size donation you're able to contribute. Every penny will be warmly appreciated. Also, please don't forget to put the name of the loved one in the comments section so I know who to include on my body and in which area: (My chest are for names "in memory of", my arms and legs are for names of survivors and fighters & my back is reserved for Lily so she can watch me from heaven and keep her precious memory alive). Last year, my mom and I were both crying as she covered my body in names...There was barely any room left but my feet. It's very scary how many people we know affected by this awful disease. I hope you enjoy the pictures from last year and consider supporting me again this year.
