Onward...

The tour is going well. It is a privilege to meet these troops. We do the show and then spend time signing autographs and taking lots of photos.

I heard from Robin that the crowds - maybe a 1,000 of our nation's finest gathered under tents - go wild at these shows. But you wouldn't believe the way we are welcomed and greeted. I feel like I should be cheering for them.

I also ate in the mess hall with some troops. They seemed surprised that I order a cheeseburger for lunch.

I'm lucky to meet these men and women. Their stories are incredible. I'm struck by their bravery and courage.

The weather here is mild - in the 60's - and not at all as hot as I expected.

Time to hit the hay. Tomorrow we are off to the next stop.
