LIVESTRONG Day is the LAF’s one-day initiative to unite people affected by cancer in raising awareness of cancer issues on a global level and in communities across the country.

LIVESTRONG Day is October 2, 2009, and we offer 3 ways for you to become involved in LIVESTRONG Day activities:

Register to host a LIVESTRONG Day event in your community to raise awareness and show your support for cancer survivors and their loved ones in your area.

Once we receive your registration, you will have access to additional materials and ideas to help you plan and execute your event. You also may connect with other local event organizers from across the country to share event planning ideas, advice and support for LIVESTRONG Day.

Many LIVESTRONG Day events are open to the general public. If you are unable to organize an event but still want to be involved, visit our local event calendar to find a LIVESTRONG Day event in your area.

  • WEAR YELLOW and encourage your friends and family to do the same.
