Partners in Yellow Underwritten Wristband Program Application

In celebration of and as a tribute to Lance Armstrong’s inspirational fight against cancer, the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF) launched the LIVESTRONG campaign in May 2004. More than 12 million people worldwide are diagnosed with cancer and eight million will die each year. The yellow wristband allows everyone to share in the spirit of LIVESTRONG.

The LAF established Partners in Yellow to provide organizations and individuals providing service, support and research programs towards cancer survivorship with LIVESTRONG wristbands. The wristbands are an additional resource in facilitating your fight against cancer.

If wristbands will assist your efforts, and you qualify for the program based on the criteria listed below, please submit the following application.

Program Criteria

• Intended recipients of the LIVESTRONG wristbands must be cancer survivors or their loved ones.
• Faith-based organizations are invited to participate in this program, with the intention that the program is available to individuals of all creeds. 
• Submitted applications must be received at least one month prior to the event. Please be advised that requests with less than one week turnaround will not be considered.

Rules and Regulations

• A submitted application does not guarantee that wristbands will be awarded. 
• In the event that your wristbands are lost, stolen or misplaced, the LAF will not be able to replace them. 
• The applicant cannot solely hold a fundraising event on behalf of a national organization or fundraising events sponsored by the local chapters of other national cancer organizations (e.g., Relay for Life, Light the Night, Team in Training, etc.). 
• Wristbands must not be resold; however, the LAF welcomes the collection of donations for the wristbands.
  
  NOTE: Due to the high volume of requests and our limited availability of wristbands, we regret that we cannot fulfill all requests. Additionally, the LAF encourages all international requests.
