RAGBRAI 2008

While it's no longer possible to ride the Tour de France as a part of Lance Armstrong's professional cycling squad, you can join Team LIVESTRONGTM  as we head to Iowa for the 36th edition of RAGBRAI July 20-26, 2008!

This is your opportunity to join over 10,000 riders as they challenge themselves to 60-70 miles of riding per day, great camaraderie (and pie!) as the people of Iowa open their hearts and towns to the cycling community.  RAGBRAI is a tremendous experience in itself, but to be able to take that opportunity and turn it into something truly special in the fight against cancer, even better!

What you need to know

  • Team LIVESTRONG will be comprised of no more than 200 riders

  • RAGBRAI is a 7-day, ~470 mile bike ride across the state of Iowa from west to east

  • Each rider must raise a minimum of $1,500 for the Lance Amstrong Foundation. This amount includes the $125 entry fee for RAGBRAI and one LIVESTRONG cycling jersey

  • We have approximately 80 slots left on the team.  All applications will now be accepted on a first come, first serve basis up until the week before the RAGBRAI established deadline of April 1.

  • VERY IMPORTANT: Sign up by filling out this online entry form and entering "RAGBRAI 2008" in the Event Description field!
