- How can I get involved or volunteer with LIVESTRONG if I do not live in Austin?
- Anyone, anywhere can join our fight against cancer. You can volunteer or participate in our LIVESTRONG Challenge, join a local LIVESTRONG Group, host a fundraising event that benefits us, support our advocacy efforts and much more. Learn more about the different ways you can get involved.
- I would like to host an event that benefits LIVESTRONG.
- Individuals who would like to host an event that raises awareness or funds for LIVESTRONG can sign up to be a Grassroots Fundraiser. Through this program, we will provide a number of tools to assist you in your fundraising. These tools include a fundraising logo, media kit (which includes a sample press release and sample solicitation letters) and informational pieces you can provide to people who might want to donate through you. You also will have access to a personal fundraising page where donors can contribute to your efforts online. - I am a U.S. resident, and I would like to find support resources for myself, a loved one or a patient or client who has been diagnosed with cancer.
- We encourage you to check out the resources available through our LIVESTRONG SurvivorCare program. Through this program, professional support services are offered to people affected by cancer including family, loved ones and friends. Through a partnership with other organizations, SurvivorCare can offer counseling and referrals to local resources, education on and matching of clinical trials (treatments still in development) and help addressing financial, employment and insurance concerns. You can contact our LIVESTRONG SurvivorCare program at 866-673-7205 to speak directly with our intake coordinator who can match you to the services that best meet your needs. The program is available in English and Spanish Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST or online. All services are confidential and free of charge.

- Cancer Support (live outside of the U.S.)
- I am an international resident, and I would like to find cancer support resources for myself or a loved one.
- Unfortunately, the resources we are able to offer international residents is very limited. Through our LIVESTRONG SurvivorCare program, we can provide limited support to residents outside the U.S. who speak English or Spanish. We can only provide information via email and online support. For those who speak English or Spanish and live outside the U.S., you may seek cancer support and information at LIVESTRONG.org/cancersupport or LIVESTRONG.org/espanol; however, not all services, such as financial assistance or telephone counseling, will be available for your area.
We recently launched a new international program that will seek to remove the stigma of cancer in selected countries and increase awareness of the global cancer burden. Our efforts are supported by the International Union Against Cancer (UICC). Please see below for more information regarding UICC as well as other international resources we encourage you to visit.

The INCTR is dedicated to helping to build capacity for cancer treatment and research in countries in which such capacity is presently limited, and thereby to create a foundation on which to build strategies designed to lessen the suffering, limit the number of lives lost and promote the highest quality of life for children and adults with cancer in these countries and to increase the quantity and quality of cancer research throughout the world. - Can you donate LIVESTRONG wristbands for my event?
- The Partners in Yellow (PIY) program was established to provide organizations that provide service, support or research programs towards cancer survivorship with LIVESTRONG wristbands at no cost to distribute to cancer survivors and their loved ones. Since PIY's inception in 2004, the program has provided more than 250,000 wristbands to further spread the message and spirit of LIVESTRONG. If LIVESTRONG wristbands will assist your organization or event efforts, please read the program criteria and rules and complete the application at LIVESTRONG.org/partnersinyellow.
