Want Lance Armstrong to Visit Your School?
The Lance Armstrong Foundation is challenging educators to get their students involved in the fight against cancer. Participating classes will have the opportunity to enter the LIVESTRONG at School contest to win a visit from champion cyclist and cancer survivor Lance Armstrong to their school. To enter:
All entries must be received by 5 p.m. CST on May 1, 2008. The class that submits the winning entry will receive a visit from Lance Armstrong. Second prize is Nike gear from the LIVESTRONG Collection for your class, and third prize is a LIVESTRONG at School poster signed by Lance for the classroom and LIVESTRONG wristbands for the entire school. The winning entries will be creative and compelling, demonstrate how people incorporate the idea of LIVESTRONG into their lives and show that students are engaged in the fight against cancer. Winners will be announced on LIVESTRONG Day on May 13. All who register will receive a LIVESTRONG at School poster to hang in their classroom and LIVESTRONG wristbands. Send an e-mail to school@livestrong.org with any questions. |
