What is a LIVESTRONG Leader?

We are committed to supporting the cancer fight and offering concrete ways for anyone affected by cancer to help make cancer a global priority. As part of our work, we are recruiting LIVESTRONG Leaders from around the globe.

A LIVESTRONG Leader is a person who is passionate about and committed to making cancer a priority in their community. LIVESTRONG Leaders can:

  • Raise public awareness and advocate for cancer survivors at the local, national and/or global level
  • Raise money or initiate projects that fund or address cancer issues
  • Educate others about LIVESTRONG and/or local cancer groups’ tools and resources available for cancer survivors
  • Represent LIVESTRONG by supporting our initiatives and partners in your area

Becoming a LIVESTRONG Leader is a fun, effective and meaningful way to get involved in our efforts to make cancer a global priority and effect change. Anyone, anywhere can join!

Once signed up, we offer you tools and resources to ensure you are successful. We require no defined time commitment from you; how much time you can commit is up to you.

When determining what you want to do as a leader in your community, we encourage you to be creative and discover the needs of cancer survivors in your area and how you can best support them.

As a leader, you can work alone or form a group of family, friends and others to help you with your cause.

Sign up today to become a LIVESTRONG Leader or use our leader search function to find a leader in your area and join their efforts.
