Ride for the Roses Weekend is a long-standing LIVESTRONG tradition that celebrates and thanks our most dedicated fundraisers. Held in conjunction with the LIVESTRONG Challenge Austin, the weekend offers supporters the opportunity to meet each other, LIVESTRONG staff and board members at unique, invitation-only events.
Fundraisers receive varying incentives starting at the $10,000 White Jersey level. The subsequent jersey levels mimic the Tour de France classification jerseys and culminate at the $30,000 Yellow Jersey level, which includes a private ride with Lance. Incentives and events during the Ride for the Roses Weekend include custom, limited-edition merchandise, private dinners and exclusive engagements with our executive staff and board.
In 2009, our Ride for the Roses fundraisers contributed approximately $3 million toward the fight against cancer. Thanks to this group of passionate cancer fighters LIVESTRONG can continue to inspire and empower cancer survivors worldwide. We look forward to welcoming new and old friends to the 2010 Ride for the Roses Weekend held in Austin on October 22-24, 2010.

As required by tax law, the Foundation will continue to distribute Federal 1099-MISC forms to Ride for the Roses Weekend participants who receive significant incentives as a result of the funds they raise. The IRS has set this threshold at $600 per calendar year. As a result, your participation in Ride for the Roses may result in taxable income for you.
