We fight to improve the lives of people affected by cancer
Kate Voth Memorial Endowment Fund
The Kate Voth Memorial Endowed Fund was created to honor the life of Kate Voth (lover of Lolcats, Greyhounds, Twitter, Drake, Madam Mam’s, Bon Iver, Parks & Recreation, Margaritas, Kanye, Nachos, Austin and Running).
In 2013 and 2014, 120+ runners and walkers participated in the Austin Marathon and Half Marathon in honor of Kate and her fight against melanoma. Together, Team Kate raised more than $100,000 for the LIVESTRONG Foundation and shared Kate’s story with the world.
On June 1, 2013, Kate passed on to eternal life, ending her long and valiant battle with melanoma. Her courage, grace, and unwavering spirit in the face of prolonged and debilitating pain were a continual source of inspiration to all who knew her.
Team Kate is honored to have established the Kate Voth Memorial Endowed Fund, which will directly support and improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
