As Vice President of Development, Adam Disler leads organizational fundraising and event operations and serves as an integral member of the organization’s Executive Leadership Team.
Disler has nearly 15 years of experience in fundraising, volunteer management, strategic planning and staff management for nonprofits. Prior to joining Livestrong, Disler served as Associate Vice President for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. In this role, Disler remotely led a national team of fundraising professionals and influenced the work of over 500 development staff nationwide on strategies and opportunities to identify, cultivate and solicit corporate executive and donor prospects to support field events and organizational funding initiatives. Disler brings extensive experience in creating and executing individual strategies for donors and corporate prospects to foster growth of relationships and revenue. In addition, Disler took an active leadership role in employee engagement initiatives, training, and professional development of staff nationwide to promote and achieve an organizational culture of excellence and high engagement. Disler’s experience also includes developing and implementing organization-wide policies and cross-functional change management.
Disler holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point and is currently in pursuit of his Master of Business Administration at Park University.
