LIVESTRONG Leader News

Welcome to the 2017 LIVESTRONG Leader program! Your LIVESTRONG staff in Austin, TX is excited about the Leader program this year and are planning for a fantastic year.

A few statistics about the 2017 Leader membership you may find interesting: 137 total Leaders; 38 new Leaders; 20 countries; and 32 states + Guam and Puerto Rico.

We are planning the necessary onboarding trainings for you. These trainings will occur online and will be recorded for you to go back to and review as needed. Save the following dates:

Tuesday, January 31 from 4:30 – 5:30 PM (Central): 2017 LIVESTRONG Leader orientation (webinar details are forthcoming)

This orientation will provide Leaders with a high level overview of current LIVESTRONG mission programs and activities, Team LIVESTRONG events and fundraising opportunities, how to order materials and report back on your Leader activities, as well as an introduction to the 2017 Leader Action Plan process.

2017 LIVESTRONG Leader Action Planning (webinar details are forthcoming)

During this training you will be provided in-depth direction on the purpose of an Action Plan, tools to create your own Action Plan and guidance in completion of the Action Plan.

Date and Time to be determined: 2017 LIVESTRONG Leader Bloomfire training (webinar details are forthcoming)

The Bloomfire webinar training is intended to introduce you to and prepare you to use Bloomfire in your role as a LIVESTRONG Leader

We continue to seek funding for a 2017 in-person LIVESTRONG Leader Assembly. However, it is highly probable we will not hold a Leader Assembly this year and will reconvene in 2018. With that said, I will keep the Leader community posted as more information becomes available.

In the meantime, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or your Senior Leader with immediate questions or concerns.

LIVESTRONG,

Kendall Bergman, MA
