July 2017
LIVESTRONG Leader News

Greetings! Thanks to those of you who helped us spread the word about the 2017 LIVESTRONG Survey. The survey closed on July 18 and we had positive response from the cancer community.

The summer is in full swing and LIVESTRONG is busy with events on the road, including the 24 Foundation’s events in Charlotte, Baltimore and Indianapolis, along with RAGBRAI. This month’s newsletter is brief, but I’m hopeful you’ll find the information below useful.

Fighting for Time: One Voice Against Cancer

"Barb and I met many wonderful people in Washington, D.C., not only from LIVESTRONG, but from many other organizations who were there for the same reason — to fight cancer. We were all reminded of the fact that lawmakers who run our country are just like us. They also have families and friends with similar stories about cancer." - Nick DiGuiseppe shares his experience from the One Voice Against Cancer lobby day.

The LIVESTRONG Guidebook

I am including the link to the digital version of the LIVESTRONG Guidebook once again this month. Feel free to share with your networks.

NOTE: We are currently unable to create a digital version of the Journal that typically accompanies the hard copy version of the Guidebook. As you share the link (https://www.livestrong.org/theguidebook) to the digital version of the Guidebook be sure to let your contacts know that the Journal is not available, but the Guidebook allows for online annotation, bookmarking, etc.
