My grandfather moved in with us when he first got sick. We all thought this was just a bad cold but the symptoms were worse and he only got weaker and weaker. Me and my mother struggled with him as he battled against cancer. He never stopped giving me life lessons until the day he said goodbye. His strong soul and young template will always stay with me.
I didn't know before this how tough this disease can be to the patient and the family. This experience changed me. Cancer is there and it comes without notice. I know now that by raising my voice to others and encouraging people to join the fight we are all better together.
I truly hope reading this inspires you or a loved one in your life, please help those who fight bravely this horrible enemy.
